FAQ
For Buyers & Investors
-
Yes. While many Canvas Homes properties are purchased as investments, buyers may also purchase a home they plan to occupy, either immediately or after renovations. We’re happy to work with buyers regardless of their plans for the property.
-
Canvas Homes gives buyers and investors access to a consistent pipeline of opportunities, including properties that may not be available through traditional channels. Because seller negotiations have often already taken place, investors can spend less time and money sourcing deals and more time evaluating them.
-
Most opportunities are 1–4 unit residential properties, along with land, tear-downs, and redevelopment opportunities.
-
That depends on your preferences. You can choose to see everything available or receive alerts only when a property matches specific criteria. Buyers without specific criteria may see approximately 5–10 opportunities per week.

For Sellers

We evaluate the property using comparable home sales, its size, age, layout, and overall condition. A licensed Canvas Homes agent may also walk through the property to better understand its current condition. Our offer is designed to account for the convenience of selling as-is, without requiring repairs or a commission paid to Canvas Homes.

Any personal belongings you want to keep should be removed before closing unless another arrangement has been agreed upon.. However, you are free to leave any personal items you do not wish to keep and we will take care of them.
-
There are no hidden or additional fees. When buying direct from the seller, all commissions are waived. Any costs associated with the transaction will be clearly disclosed and explained as part of the offer.
For Realtors & Wholesalers
